The 3rd Annual Greer State Bank Wing Fling, presented by Greer Memorial Hospital to benefit Greer Relief will be held on Thursday, September 18th from 6-10pm in beautiful downtown Greer. Last year was a huge success as approximately 2,000 people showed up for wings, beverages, and free music. Local area restaurants put their recipes to the test for the title of "Best Wings" - "Hottest Wings" - "People's Choice" - "Best Booth." Dedicated to blues music with a positive message, Blues Revival is simply a jam band with a passion to play. With influences such as The Allman Brothers, Derek Trucks Band, and Government Mule just to name a few. This Greenville, South Carolina based group has many years of recording experience but definitely should be seen live to appreciate the improvisational skill and true Revival experience. The twin lead guitar work of Marvin King and his twelve-year-old son Markus Lee are at the center of the band’s overall sound. But the extremely tight rhythm section of Chris Green on bass guitar and Jim Ball on drums pulls it all together into a well-oiled music machine.
