MAIN STREET EVENTS FORGE MANAGEMENT PARTNERSHIP WITH DRIVE
West End Field entertainment logistics to be managed by MSE

Greenville, SC: Main Street Events, Inc. a Greenville-based festival and event Production Company has announced that a production management contract has been completed with the Greenville Drive and West End Field. MSE will partner with the Drive for future concerts and/or entertainment options that require logistical expertise for production.

“We are obviously excited to have a great opportunity to work with a solid partner in this new venture,” stated Byron K. Rucker, MSE Executive Director. “Our organization is in a position to work hand-in-hand with the Drive to produce the finest entertainment in the market, and the ability to showcase the new West End Field as a venue with flexibility and appeal to a wide range of audiences. The attendance records that were broken this past season prove that the upstate has truly accepted the team and facility, and now it is time to present the additional entertainment possibilities that exist at the stadium.”

In the agreement, MSE will work with the Greenville Drive management to provide logistical and production management support to promoters who wish to use West End Field for concerts, or other entertainment offerings. MSE will serve as the main contact to negotiate with promoters on behalf of the Drive for production elements including staging, audio, electrical needs, load-in and load-out, access and scheduling. The Greenville Drive will manage ticket sales and distribution, security, concessions, etc. The two partners will share corporate partner sales efforts.

"As we grow our organization and begin to look to host the occasional concert and festival, having Main Street Events as a partner will allow us to maintain the highest standard for events of this nature."

Main Street Events currently owns and/or has management agreements with St. Francis Fall for Greenville, Artisphere International Arts Festival, USA Cycling Professional Championships, Countybank Main Street Jazz, Downtown Alive, Carolina First Saturday Market, BellSouth Red, White and Blue, and Shaggin’ on Augusta.
