MAIN STREET EVENTS ANNOUNCES BOARD ADDITIONS

Greenville, SC:  Main Street Events, Inc. a Greenville-based festival and event Production Company has announced the following Board of Directors additions beginning January 1, 2008.

“We are very fortunate to find quality leaders in the community who are engaged in our organization,” stated Byron K. Rucker, MSE Executive Director.  “As we grow our business and expand our footprint, it is important for the leadership to guide us with sound expertise and support.  This incoming group has a great mix of professional backgrounds that will work well with the returning board members and our organizations goals.”

RETURNING BOARD MEMBERS:

Main Street Events, Inc. owns and operates Countybank Main Street Jazz, AT&T Red, White and Blue, and the B&B Development Downtown Sounds (Anderson, SC).  MSE has management contracts with St. Francis Fall for Greenville, Artisphere International Arts Festival, Anderson Soiree (Anderson, SC), Downtown Alive, USA Professional Cycling Championships, Wheels for Meals Cycling Fundraiser, and the Anderson Downtown Chili-Cookoff (Anderson, SC).  MSE is also engaged in consulting roles with other markets throughout the eastern part of the U.S.
