NEW WEBSITE UP AND RUNNING FOR MAIN STREET EVENTS
New site showcases new energy and direction of Event Company

Greenville, SC:  Main Street Events, Inc. a Greenville-based festival and event Production Company has announced the creation of a new website, located at www.mainstevents.com.  The new site was designed and will be powered by Greenville’s Showcase Marketing, Inc.

“As we move into new, expanded creation and production opportunities, it was important for us to provide easy access to information concerning our events and the cities with which we partner,” stated MSE Executive Director Byron K. Rucker.  “With additional services, the new site becomes a source of information as well as a marketing tool for our organization as well as our corporate and event partners.  Showcase Marketing worked closely with us and has captured our needs and turned them into an information center for entertainment, volunteers, corporate partners, MSE consulting services, along with the ability to interact with event patrons.  Festival and event attendees will have quick access to band audio and biographical information, and our corporate partners receive the option of access to their respective company information through our site.”

Main Street Events, Inc. (formerly Greenville Events, Inc.) changed to the current name in October of 2006.  MSE currently owns and/or manages eight events in the Greenville market.  New events and new markets will be announced in the next few weeks which will bring proven event partnerships with a wide variety of cities across the region.

“The look of the site was created to indicate the overall philosophy of the organization as it relates to cities and towns that we work with – everyone has a Main Street, whether in name or in spirit, in their hometowns, and those are the areas that citizens take pride in and expect good things to happen.  And, at the end of that street, folks can always enjoy the excitement that an event or festival brings,” Rucker commented.  “We hope that all event-goers enjoy their time and that the entertainment is universal in its appeal.”

The current event schedule is listed on the site, and was announced last week.  Please visit the new site to check out the latest information on each event.  Event entertainment and final schedules will be announced later in February.
