COUNTYBANK MAIN STREET JAZZ READY TO ENTERTAIN DOWNTOWN
Long-standing weekly standard set to follow record-setting season

Greenville, SC:  Main Street Events, Inc. a Greenville-based festival and event Production Company has announced the entertainment lineup and corporate partners for COUNTYBANK MAIN STREET JAZZ music series in Downtown Greenville.  The series will be held on Friday evenings on the Hyatt Regency Plaza Deck on Main Street from 5:30-9:30pm beginning on April 6th and continuing through September 29th.  The full slate of entertainment and sponsors were also announced at the press conference on Thursday morning.

“You know the event season has arrived when Countybank Main Street Jazz starts up,” stated Byron K. Rucker, Main Street Events Executive Director.  “Our partnership with Countybank continues to be a perfect match for this event.  The multi-year agreement shows a strong commitment from both sides and the exposure for Countybank as the title sponsor works well with their marketing goals.  This years’ lineup on the Verizon Wireless stage will set new standards for entertainment on Main Street, and the record-setting 2006 season serves as a great starting point for this spring and summer.”

“COUNTYBANK MAIN STREET JAZZ” has served as a start to the weekend for upstate residents on Main Street for many years.  The weekly music series features a wide variety of music including from Jazz, Blues, Oldies, Beach and Soul from around the country.  A full list of entertainment and corporate partner links can be sampled by visiting www.mainstevents.com.  MSE is the owner of the Main Street Jazz, and organizes all elements of the event, including entertainment, volunteers, marketing, finance and operations.

Several corporate partners have committed their support to the event.  Verizon Wireless has joined MSJ as the “Official Stage Sponsor”.  They will be joined in support of the event by Budweiser, Pepsi, Ben Arnold Sunbelt Beverage, WMYI-FM (MY102.5), The Greenville News (TALK Magazine), HMR Advantage Health Systems, BI-LO (Children’s Area sponsor), Penske Truck Rentals, Blue Ridge Brewing Company, and SportsClub.  Other corporate partners are in on-going discussions to join the event, and additional corporate partners are welcomed.

Main Street Events, Inc. owns and operates Countybank Main Street Jazz, AT&T Red, White and Blue, B&B Development Downtown Sounds (Anderson, SC), as well as The Greenville News Shaggin on Augusta.  MSE has management contracts with St. Francis Fall for Greenville, Artisphere International Arts Festival, TLC Laser Eye Centers Downtown Alive, USA Professional Cycling Championships, Wheels for Meals Cycling Fundraiser, and the BMW Charity Pro-AM at the Cliffs.  MSE is also engaged in consulting roles with other markets throughout the eastern part of the U.S.
