HYATT REGENCY GREENVILLE CELEBRATES 25 YEARS DOWNTOWN BY HOSTING A RETRO ROLLBACK WEEKEND

GREENVILLE, SC—On August 17 and 18, 2007, Hyatt Regency Greenville will continue its year-long celebration of 25 years in downtown Greenville with a “Retro Rollback to 1982” Weekend. Hyatt is flashing back to 1982 by offering rates starting at $82.00 per night for its newly renovated guest room. In addition, they will roll back Food and Beverage prices and offer the famous “Hyatt Jack” sandwich all weekend long. The entire Upstate is invited to dance the night away to all of the favorite one-hit-wonders from the 1980’s, performed by RetroVertigo, on Saturday, August 18th, from 6pm until 10pm on Hyatt’s Plaza Deck.

Hyatt has partnered with Main Street Events, Inc. to promote and present this special Retro Rollback to 1982 Weekend. “We wanted an exciting and memorable way to include the upstate community in our year-long celebration of our 25 years downtown. Main Street Event is an ideal partner with strong community connections to get everyone energized to be part of the weekend and stay at Hyatt,” said Nancy Dudak, general manager, Hyatt Regency Greenville.

Hyatt is located on Main Street in the heart of downtown Greenville. The hotel features an atrium lobby with 328 newly renovated guestrooms, nine suites and 24,000 square feet of meeting space. Provencia Restaurant offers a new signature breakfast and lunch menu and guests can enjoy a light meal and signature cocktails.
