MAIN STREET EVENTS ANNOUNCES EVENT DATES FOR 2007
Slate of events fill festival season with over 60 dates
Greenville, SC: Main Street Events, Inc. a Greenville-based festival and event Production Company has announced the event schedule for 2007. The events are all based in the city limits of Greenville, and will cover over 60 dates from March until October.
“The slate of events for 2007 is strong and covers many segments of our community,” stated Byron K. Rucker, MSE Executive Director. “Our organization strives to present the best events in a safe setting for everyone to enjoy. There will be a wide variety of entertainment, food and beverage, children’s activities, and corporate sponsor participation. Each event is unique in its goals and objectives, but the basic organization and presentation are consistent with our philosophies and proven systems of operation. We will look to expand upon the list of events for 2007 and beyond as new agreements are finalized with quality partners both in Greenville and other markets”
Main Street Events will announce multiple new events and partnerships in the weeks to come, to include a new market as well as extended contracts with existing events in the upstate community.

St. Francis Fall for Greenville (Oct. 12-14, 2007)
3-day festival; 26th year in 2007; management contract through FFG Board
Artisphere International Arts Festival (April 20-22, 2007)
3-day festival; third year in 2007; management contract through AIAF Board
AT&T Red, White and Blue (July 4, 2007)
July 4th event; MSE-owned event
The Greenville News Shaggin’ on Augusta (May 19, 2007)
1-day beach music festival; MSE owned event
Countybank Main Street Jazz (Friday – April 6 through September 28, 2007)
Weekly Friday evening music oriented event on Main Street in Greenville; MSE owned event
* Entertainment schedules will be announced mid-February
Downtown Alive (Thursday – March 29 through September 6, 2007)
Weekly Thursday evening music oriented event on Main Street in Greenville; management contract through Metropolitan Arts Council (their largest single fundraiser each year)
* Entertainment schedule and new title sponsor will be announced mid-February
USA Cycling Pro Championships (August 31 – September 2, 2007)
3-day National Championship event for USA Cycling; 2nd year in Greenville; management contract through Medalist Sports
